I had the written assessment for a new job today. I passed it and have an interview tomorrow :o) I really did not know what to think of it when I finished. I was given a scenario and was asked to write down what other information I'd need, what intervention strategies I'd use and what learning outcomes I would do. The second part was a written record of an incident. I had to shorten it from 280 words to 100 words, making sure to keep in the important parts. I found the second part so much easier. I have to write up records when we have had incidents with the kids in my job now. I am so nervous about my interview.
Not much else going on with me really. Been going the gym still. Sign language is going well. We've started filming ourselves having conversations with other people in the class. It is horrible/weird seeing myself back on a video camera signing. We have to look into those naked scanners they are bringing in at Manchester Airport for next week. We are going to filmed in groups of 3 having a discussion about them. Should be entertaining.
