  Monday finished

  I love it when I've got Monday out the way. I think it's totally a psychological thing. Mondays are not actually that bad in my class. Other days are much worse. 4 more get ups till the weekend!
  
  I had a good weekend. Friday night, Dave and I just stayed in. Saturday night I went out with 2 of my friends to a rock club here called the Krazyhouse. I used to go there all the time and loved it. It was actually a disappointing night. I loved seeing my friends, but the place itself isn't the same. Maybe that's what happens when you still go to a club you went to 6 years ago. Or maybe it was down to the amount of boring people that seemed to be in there. No one seemed to be dancing much and when they were, they seemed to be too bothered about what other people thought of them. When I go out, I really couldn't care less what people think of me when I'm dancing. They were playing some great songs too - Soil, Buckcherry, Rammstein, Marilyn Manson etc. I was home by about 1.30am, which is early for me. Sunday afternoon, Dave and I finally finished watching all of Battlestar Galactica. I was a bit sad when it finished. I know that does sound pretty stupid, but I was haha! I'm planning on watching it all again at some point. I can imagine it being just an interesting watch when you know all the twists.
  
  I can't wait for Friday. Going to see Skindred with Dave and 2 friends. Dave and I are planning a trip to Krispy Kremes on the way back haha! It's open 24 hours and we haven't had any Krispy Kreme doughnuts in ages. Although I think Manchester Academy is on the other side of Manchester to the Trafford Centre where Krispy Kreme is near. Oh well. It's well worth it. I'll be so hyped up afterwards that I won't be bothered about driving later on. Doughnuts after a gig are probably not a good idea though :op
  
  I applied for a job 2 weeks ago and I heard back from it.....I've been asked to go for a written assessment. I am so happy! It's at Barnardo's, which is where I used to work before I got my full time job. If I pass the written assessment, I will be asked back for an interview the next day. I really badly want this job. I loved working at Barnardo's. The only reason I left was because they didn't have any full time hours. Plus, the pay is considerably more than what I'm on now. I told my boss today as I needed to ask for time off work and she doesn't want me to go haha! The written assessment is in the morning on Thursday 15th October.
  
  I went back the gym today for the first time in 2 weeks. It was so hard. I felt really unfit :o( I know that I'll get back into the swing of things soon enough. I've got a workout review next Monday which should help me keep pushing myself.
