Hey all...my name is Amanda. I play bass and I love music! It’s a HUGE part of my life...I don’t know what I would do without it. It’s just that one thing I know will never let me down and is always around when I need it the most. My constant. I have an HBA in Law and Justice and a Child and Youth Worker diploma. I also really love to draw...portraits for the most part. I’ve designed a couple of tattoos for people, one of them being Hybrid911 on this site (Jade). I’m just a little bit crazy...and I love to have fun! Even if it’s in the weirdest of ways. I LOVE going to concerts and experiencing the live music environment. Meeting other fans and sharing life and music experiences is always so much fun! Some bands I’ve seen live, besides papa roach, are Motley Crue (3 times and going for the fourth in February), Avenged Sevenfold (twice), Velvet Revolver (twice), Green Day, Blink 182, Los Mondo Bongo...and many more!
Obviously I’m a huge papa roach fan...I’ve seen them four times (once spent 22 hours on a bus to see them) and I said hi to Jacoby and Jerry and had a short conversation. My other favourite bands are The Clash, Joe Strummer and the Mescaleros, Green Day, Motley Crue, Guns N Roses, Rancid, The Sex Pistols, Social Distortion...I love punk music and have for most of my life. I guess I connect with the chaos, anger, and frustration as well as using your anger as a way to enforce change in the world. People can do anything if they try...we make our own future...the future is unwritten.
I’m a dedicated and passionate person who always fights for what they believe in...even if it’s against the grain and gets me into trouble. I voice my opinion and am honest...even if people may not want to hear what I have to say. I’m a scorpio...which says a lot. Holy fuck I havn't written a blog in eons!! So...first off...I saw the crue again at the beginning of February. Fucking amazing!!! This was my fourth time seeing the band and it was by far the best crue show! I got to be front row right in front of Nikki which was a dream come fucking true I tell you! Nikki has been a huge inspiration in my life for like 9 years...So much shit just came...

sounds like you had an amazing time im still mad that i couldnt go! im getting sick of not being able to go to shows cause i cant afford it.. it would be fine if my friends paid there own way then i would be able to go... but sounds amazing did you get any pictures i really would love to see them :) i am doing alright! im going to ROTR in ohio in may so that is something to look forward to! thats about it there is nothing new with me which is kinda depressing... how about you?

I love his music :o) And I really enjoy time spending with him :o) However there's my friend (well I can't really call her friend anymore...) who is really into him and we argue almost every day because of her... haha vince.. ok sorry i cant stand him at all i love tommy and nikki... and mick loL! i get where you are coming from... but i dont think they were going to tour... but then all of a sudden there was the greatest hits... which i dont understand cause didnt they release red white and crue which is semi like a greatest hits thing??? everyone uses backing tracks but yeah it is annoying... oh and the conditioner... its cause you want them to get tighter and dry out.... but you can once in a while so they are not brittle!
Mel was working on New Years Eve? That's a pity... What does she do? One of my friends was working that night as well so we made a special after-party for him :o) My best friend's band gonna have a gig in Hard Rock Café in Prague on February 5th - I'm so excited!! I just can't wait :o) My closest friends gonna be there too which is just great :o) Last time I've seen them was before Christmas - that's quite the only thing that really sucks since I moved to Olomouc - I can't be with them as much as I wanted too...
Well if you haven't heard new 30STM album - it's not really a big mistake. I actually like just 3 songs of the album o_O
yeah its funny cause tommy lee was on jimmy fallon and he was like well crue is taking 2010 off so im working on my new mayhem record... i was like umm no you are doing a greatest hits tour... im still hoping to go i will sit in nosebleeds if i f'ing have too! i didnt get to see em on the carnival of sins... i saw then at cruefest for the first time i think... yeah and then after that... it killed me not being able to go... i hope that they do a whole bunch of fun stuff... at the show... and about jimmy they say that it was natural causes... so something must have been going on the poor guy! it sucks...
oh and about dreads... yeah you wash them just like normal hair.. well undreaded hair... just no conditioner.. im anal about showering so i learned all the stuff about them before i got them the first time.. i had them years ago... they are not dirrty its a big misconception.. you just gotta make sure you dry them really well cause they will start to be funky if you dont... thats about it they are clean and stuff...
that is a good way to think... i think the whole treat ones how you want to be treated... well most of the time cause some people are just jack asses... and yeah being negative takes alot of you... so im trying to be nicer all around... but its good to know that you can be optimistic and blunt... cause i would hate to not be able to speak open mindly about certain things!

I feel totally different, it's like somethings taken the demon and burnt it up in front of me. I just don't wanna fall off the track again, y'know? I'm scared of going back to the way I used to be. There's a slight twinge in me that's longing to do what I said I'd never do again, but I'm fighting it and I don't even have a new reason to continue y'know?

I was watching a video with Kat Von D on it and obviously cos she's Nikki's girlfriend the song someone used was animal in me and I really really liked it so I took a listen to some of the other tracks too :) I'm not into their older stuff admitted, though I totally respect Nikki now after reading THD x haha aw thanks I'll let you know how it goes. I'm so excited, can't wait to see the sexy one who was flirting with me again, minus the shiny lips may be :P haha i could sort that out! i'll shut up now.
